Here is another garden update! We have been canning tomatoes already! I think we’ve done 10 quarts of Pasta Sauce and 12 Quarts of Salsa. We’ve been pickling Zucchini and Cucumbers too! It’s so exciting because this is the first year I’ve been able to grow enough on my own to preserve.

Harvest Salad from a Raised Bed Vegetable Garden


Harvesting veggies and mixing up a salad. The ingredients are: One Purple Easter Egg Radish. One Hakurei White Turnip. Red Sail Leaf Lettuce. Red Baron Scallions. I chop up everything, including the turnip and radish greens – tops. Sprinkle with Garlic Powder and Ground Pepper. One Half Tablespoon Macadamia Nut Oil. Apple Cider Vinegar. So far the garden has yielded 2-4 of these big salads each day. I’m very pleased with the results. Organic Fresh and Pesticide free. YUM YUM DELICIOUS!
